Elk Hair Caddis This Time

Started out fishing a Grasshopper, then switched to a Foam Damsel Fly as well as a Tube Popper Fly and a Balsa Popper Fly. Had strikes but just were not hooking them. Went to an Elk Hair Caddis in Size 14 and started hooking up with Bass and Bluegill!  Fun stuff, even had some good tunes in the background from the Summer Sounds Concert that the City hosts.

Back To Bethany This Evening

Fished Bethany this evening.  Used a fly rod and caught bluegill and bass using an Elk Hair Caddis Fly and and Olive Wooley Bugger.  Steady action despite the 100+ Temps; even had a Bruiser break the line.  Till next time... Good luck and good fishing!

Able to Wet a Line... Opted for the Tenkara Rod!

Been a tough week for the Team to get away and fish.  Did make it this morning to Bethany.  Brought the Tenkara Rod and fished with a Purple Grasshopper Variant; caught about 12 Bluegill and Sunfish.  Then, switched to a Bully's Bluegill Spider and caught more.  Then, ended the outing with a Shellcracker that went for a Elk Hair Caddis!  Fun stuff!
