South Lakes Park Pond Offered Some Larger Stocker Trout!

Field Team fished South Lakes Park Pond in Denton today. Bite was steady and consistent with a limit each taken in under an hour!

Powerbait Chartreuse and a Slip-Sinker Rig were key. Trout were striking readily but tended to run towards shore on the bite causing the line to slack. Quick retrieving of line to set the hook was needed, else missed hook sets would result.

Was a fun time especially when the Trout were larger than the 9"-10" Stockers caught elsewhere. Largest caught went about 14" in size!
