Caught on another homemade hook!
Fished Bethany Lakes Main and Back Ponds using Brown and White Rabbit Fur with Silver Body Fly. Had several strikes but no hook-ups. Did see a lot of fish hitting on the surface along the Main Pond's shoreline near the spillway.

Fished Bethany Lakes upper, lower, and main ponds. Caught Bluegills on a Dryfly using a technique called Dapping. Long pole using a line made up of with monofilament and dental floss. To fish the fly, let the wind carryout the line and the fly to the desired spot, and then lift the rod up and down to "dap" the fly on the water's surface.
Had some surprising results using this technique. Jumping strikes and hard hits on the surface. Really fun and easy to fish!
Fished Celebration Park east pond using dip bait and hook and line. Caught a number of Bullheads and one keeper-size Channel Catfish. Still fun!
Fished Celebration Park east pond using paste bait on a treble hook. Mainly caught small Bullheads but did catch a keeper-size Channel Catfish.
Saw a family of four fishing; the Dad caught a 24" Catfish. Something to think about next time you go to Celebration!
