This podcast we recap the July 4 Weekend’s activities where we headed South to New Braunfels and Gruene to fish, kayak, and tube a river or two as well as have some tasty food and have a margarita or two or three or more… LOL!

Other Commitments, but...!

Have other commitments that are keeping us from fishing but it still does not keep us away from the fishing mindset.  Was out and about down South, stopped by an antique store in Gruene and picked up a couple of lures - a Hollow-Frog and a Tiny Torpedo!

Then, decided to pour a prototype plastic "Senko" worm.  Calling it the "Half-Quatro" because it is a hand poured worm based on the 4" Senko.  The difference is it floats and the bottom is flat - almost like the 4" Senko was cut in half!

Going to play around with this one a little, maybe make another version of it.  That is, if we can keep from burning the plastisol!
