The edited version of the Mobile Fishing Livestream video where I fly fish a pond using a Producer Fishing Fly and a 4wt Fly Rod!

Key Highlights:

• Producer in an olive variant worked well for Bass and Bluegill.
• Stealthy approach to the bank and casting standing back 10-15 feet minimized spooking the fish lurking near the bank.
• Fish readily struck the fishing fly; however, when Bluegill on beds were encountered, a slow retrieve through their beds seemed to work best!

Another Round But Cut Short By High Temps!

The edited version of the Mobile Fishing Livestream video where I start fishing a 3D Printed Lure, then switch to a Rooster Tail Inline Spinner.

Key Highlights:

• 3D Lure needed adjustments. Balance and action were not natural. No fish on the 3D Lure.
• Fish were deeper as anticipated given the 100+ Temps. Countdown retrieve using an 8 count seemed to work best.
• Be sure to watch the phone and the livestream status as the heat cut short the livestream!

Smaller Seemed Better - Ultralight Lures?

Had to give it another shot, fishing with a Trout Magnet on Ultralight Baitcasting Gear. The updated version of the Mobile Fishing Livestream video with me using a one-gram Trout Magnet jig with baitcasting gear.

Key Highlights:

• Employing a steady retrieve proved effective with several strikes. Later on, switched to a more erratic "twitchy" retrieve when the bite slowed down to reignite interest.
• Many fingerling Bass and Bluegill showed interest in the lure, resulting in missed strikes. It was fascinating to sense the strike through the delicate "1mm Rod Tip" of the Ultralight Rod.
• Several anglers at the pond had limited success. The Ultralight lure made a noticeable difference in attracting strikes. It seems that the fish were accustomed to larger lures, making the smaller one more appealing in this scenario!

• Ideal for small Stocker-Size Trout, caution is advised when handling larger fish – it's best to use a net!

Updated version of the Mobile Fishing Livestream video where I showcased fishing at a pond using a Foam Grasshopper, a Redington Pursuit Fly Rod, and an Echo Ion Fly Reel.

Key Highlights:

• The Foam Grasshopper's tail was intentionally tied long, allowing for on-the-spot customization by trimming with scissors as needed.
• Despite the summer heat, Bluegill that were short-striking were still present in groups around their spawning areas.
• By modifying the Foam Grasshopper into a Foam Spider with a shortened tail, it continued to attract bites even when soaked in water!
