Easy DIY Lure That Catches Fish!

Slabs Are Awesome!

Slab and Jig Rigs are highly effective for kayak fishing and casting around windy points where schools of fish tend to gather. Crafting your own Slabs with a Do-Mold adds an extra level of satisfaction to the experience. Make sure to give them a try!

Only One Keeper This Morning!

Fished Clear Lake this morning with the kayak.  Tried drifting for Catfish with Shad; had two nibbles but no hook ups.  Switched to a Slab and Jig Rig and had one take but failed to set the hook well.

Kept at it; a White Bass struck but was not a Keeper. Went another 30"; another struck.  It was a Keeper.  Only two White Bass this round with only one Keeper. Still a fun time!
