Pattern Changed....
Tied a White Damsel Fly Variant and tested it out a Bethany. Had one Bluegill take it solid, and then had others strike but no hookups. Switched to a White Grasshopper Variant and had a few more strikes, then called it quits at Bethany. Went across the street to Bethany Ridge and hooked a few Bluegill and Shellcracker. Pattern changed; suspect the cool front had something to do with it. Still had a fun time!

Two Sunfish and Two Bass This Round
Lots of rain yesterday, so no fishing. No rain today, so went fishing! Caught two Sunfish and two Bass on a White Damsel Fly Variant. Fish were there but the action seemed slower than the other day.

Caught Several Fish with a White Damsel Fly Variant!
Caught several fish at Bethany using a White Damsel Fly Variant. Brought the Three Weight Fly Rod that we picked up from Cabelas last year. Was happy to hook and land three Bluegill/Sunfish and three Bass.
Even happier that the Three Weight handled an 8" Bluegill/Shellcracker(?) Hybrid, a skinny 15" Bass, and an 18.5" Bass. All three made the minimum for the COAF Fishing Leader Board! Moreover, the 18.5" Bass takes second in the One Fishing Fly Challenge! Soon to be bumped by others we hope!
