Another Day Trip to the Blue River... Yesterday!

Here is the video clip of yesterday's action.  Had a great time catching Trout on the Blue River.  Today,... we cooked them up on our iron skillet... Tasty meal!

Three Bass on the Fly this Morning

Decided to take the fly rod out for this morning's quick trip to Bethany Lakes.  Tied some fishing flies last night in preparation for a day trip for Trout across the border to the Blue River.  Worked out well catching three Bass!  Hope the Trout like the fishing flies, too!

What We Used Today.

Here is a picture of the Wooley Buggers we used today on the Blue River.  Picked them up at Scotty's One Stop.  We tie our own flies but always make a point to keep a few of these in the fly box handy.  Can make a difference in catching trout... Like it did today!
