Powerbait Continues to Produce Trout at Bethany Lakes

Fished Bethany Lakes after dark and came prepared with Corn, but ended up sticking with Powerbait. The bite was steady for the first hour, then slowed during the second. Still managed to pull a limit of Trout—three on Pink and two on Chartreuse. Even hooked another on Chartreuse but lost it right at the bank. Fun stuff!

While cleaning the Trout afterward, I noticed several had absolutely gorged on Corn. Good to know they’re feeding on it, especially since Powerbait has been tough to find lately. Still working through last year’s stash!

PS: Met one of our readers and his dad this evening. Always great running into fellow anglers in the field—especially when the fish are biting!

    1. It's called Pond C but most of the locals refer to it as the Horseshoe Pond because it is shaped like one. It is also the one with a pier.
