Stop the Retrieve When They Follow
Bass number 3 fishing a Trout Magnet with my KastKing Kestrel BFS reel and MagicL Handing rod. The bass followed the lure but hesitated to bite. I stopped the retrieve. It struck on the drop.
That follow was the tell. Keep winding and you may pull it away from a fish that isn’t ready. Pause it, let it fall, and the eat can happen right there.
See you on the water.
