Light Lures Don’t Have to Be a Fight
Yes, you can cast a 1 gram lure on a baitcaster.
I was running the KastKing Kestrel BFS Reel with a Trout Magnet at the local pond. The casts stayed consistent, and the results followed. Light lures on BFS gear don’t have to be a fight—once the reel is dialed in, the throws become repeatable and the presentation stays clean.
That’s the practical side of bait finesse. A 1 gram bait, a BFS reel, and a local pond. Consistent casts, consistent results.
See you on the water.
