Two Catfish. Four Bullheads.
Fished the East Pond at Celebration Park this evening. Caught 2 Catfish and 4 Bullheads using Bread. Not bad but no Bruisers. Did try out a syringe to make Bread Discs. Worked great; bait stayed on the hook and made for easier casting.

Celebration Park - East Pond
Fished the East Pond at Celebration Park in Allen just after 5:30 PM today. Used Bread for bait in hopes of enticing some of the "Bruiser" Catfish that reside in the pond. Had good luck with Bread last year. Caught 5 small Channel Catfish and 4 Bullheads but no "Bruisers".
Still a good trip with a much needed break from the work week. Took some pictures but was unable to post them. Channel Catfish went about 12" and the Bullheads about 9" to 10" in size. Good luck and good fishing!
Update: Was able to post pictures.

Celebration Park - January 8, 2009
Warm day today; able to make a quick trip to Celebration Park's North Pond for Bluegill/Sunfish. Saw enough action to stay ready for light striking Trout. Cross our fingers we will be able to test our reflexes on Trout at other locations in the area in the near future.
Small but Scrappy.
