Shadow Lakes @ McDermott - May 5, 2008

Fished one of the feeder creek ponds at Shadow Lakes. Pond is just south of McDermott Road on the east side of Allen. Caught one 8.5" Sunfish and lost a few others. Celebration Park - May 1, 2008

Feeder Creek in Plano - April 30, 2008

Fished a feeder creek in the city of Plano. Creek is located at Spring Creek and Old Orchard Road and accessed from Custer Road. A running trail runs alongside it and is close to the Public Library on Custer Road. Caught two Sunfish of which one went 8.5" in size. Also, observed Bass and a Crappie in the creek. Bethany Creek Pond - April 28, 2008

Fished Bethany Creek Pond - a neighborhood pond just east of Bethany Lakes along Shadow Lakes Road in Allen. Caught a number of Sunfish and Bluegill ranging from 4" to 7.5" in size. Used flyfishing gear and a Prince Nymph just below the surface and a Gangle-Legged Dryfly on the surface. Caught and released over 20 fish. Video posted below. Lake Lavon @ Brockdale Park - April 27, 2008

Fished the point at Brockdale Park this afternoon. Caught a Catfish and 10 Yellow Bass on live Shad and Earthworms, respectively. Catfish went 15" in size. Yellow Bass ranged from 5" to 7" in size.

Lake Lavon @ Brockdale Park - April 26, 2008

Fished Lake Lavon at Brockdale Park. Strong breeze did not sway the fishing. Yellow Bass were congregating off the point and were readily taken using a bottom rig and earthworms for bait. Bethany Lakes' Canal - April 25, 2008
