Celebration Park - November 12, 2008

Fished Celebration Park's East Pond this Evening. Caught small Catfish but did note some larger fish activity while people were feeding ducks. Sampling of the small Catfish posted below. Eastland College, Mesquite - November 9, 2008

Fished two ponds at Eastland College in Mesquite today. Promising location that I decided to fish while passing through the area. Hoped to catch Bass but ended with Sunfish. Slow Results!

Slight Delay in Posting.

Did not fish this weekend; opted to go hunting instead. Was going to fish a few ponds along the way to the lease and/or while at the lease but got a late start and had to make adjustments to travel plans. Fish in a Drainage Ditch!

Fished Bethany Ridge Park Pond at Lunch today. Had a few light strikes in the pond but no hook-ups. Tried the feeder creek with no success; went to the drainage ditch and caught a Bass and a Bluegill. Pictures posted below.

Slower But Still Catchable - October 29, 2008

Fished Bethany Lakes Back Pond in the late afternoon/early evening. Caught a few Bluegill and Sunfish flyfishing. Activity is slower but the fish are still catchable. A slight improvement compared to yesterday's light strikes and zero hook-ups. Hopefully the next few days will bring warmer temperatures to get them active again. Bethany Lakes - October 26, 2008

Fished Bethany Lakes Lower Pond in the late afternoon/early evening. Opted to continue flyfishing the Wooly Spider rather than change tactics. Bethany Ridge Park - October 24, 2008

Fished Bethany Ridge Park Pond at Lunch to fish for Bass. Waited till it warmed up a little before hitting the small pond in Allen.

Had several small Bass chasing my Wooly Spider. Sunfish and Bluegill kept nipping at the fishing fly as well.
