Turkey Trot Thanksgiving Day Run in Dallas.

Did not fish this morning. Ran in the 41st Annual Turkey Trot in Dallas instead. Turkey Trot is an 8 Mile Run and 3 Mile Run that is held to support the Dallas YMCA. Cool morning made for an easier run. A lot of people participated; officials estimated over 30,000. Once the pain subsides will try a quick trip and post results! Happy Thanksgiving! Bethany Lakes - November 21, 2008

Fished Bethany Lakes main pond this evening. Fished with Bread for bait; a few light nibbles but no solid bites. Will have to try other tactics; at least until the Trout arrive. Did stop at Dick's Sporting Goods and stocked up on Copper Super Dupers and Gold Ribbed Hare's Ear Nymphs. Found them to be consistent producers on stocked Trout during the first week of release.
