Went pond fishing the other day. Had some bites as well as stolen baits. Was wondering what was stealing my bait. Luckily, I had the waterwolf camera to catch the culprit.
Decided to go fishing at the local pond. Went with ultralight bait casting gear. Started with a ned rig. Switch to a DIY inline spinner. That worked, got a scrappy bash on the line!
The camera setup I used when I went kayak fly fishing at the local tailrace was the DJI Osmo Action 4 and the Mic Mini. Below is a short video with more details and links to the gear on Amazon.
Key takeaways are:
The wireless microphone allowed me to mount the camera on a pole and provide a wide angle view of the action.
I used an extra mount to allow me to move the camera for a different angle of view.
Extra batteries allowed me to keep the camera on while fishing so I did not miss any action shots.
And, the camera was voice controlled allowing me to start/stop recording without having to remove it from its pole mount.
