Ultralight Baitcasting for Bass with 3D Printed Micro Lure! Made one modification to the original design. Opted for a larger treble hook to allow for more solid hooksets.
Looks promising! Casts well with the Feather Flight Kingfisher BFS Reel and Handing MagicL Ultralight Rod!

Been tinkering with the 3D Printer to make micro lures. Here is the first of many hopefully to come. This is a Micro Blade Lure that weighs 1.61 grams!

Trying a different tube material that uses silicone. Normally use a hard plastic tube. It worked on one Bass this round! #fishing #flyfishing #flytying

Pretty awesome making stuff with a 3D Printer. So far, it's a mic stand for podcasting, a phone stand to hold my phone, and a fly fishing strike indicator. Next, make some diy micro lures!
Took some fly line and ran it through the guides of an Orvis Practicaster. No reel needed, can easily cast 20-30 feet possibly more. Next step, catch a fish!

Made it back to the annual TRWD Flyfest held on the banks of the Trinity River by the Acme Brick Company Headquarters! Below are videos from the Big Trout Fly Fishing Contest. Overall Winner for Biggest Trout went 23.5" and Overall Winner by Team was for 14 Trout!
Well this one went 23" caught just after the Big Trout Contest ended! Believe it or not it would have come in 2nd to the 23.5" Trout caught during the event!

TRWD Flyfest is a fly fishing event hosted by the Tarrant Regional Water District on the banks of the Trinity River near the Acme Brick Company headquarters.
It's free, it's fun, and there are some big trout to be caught in the River! We plan to be there tomorrow, and if all goes well, livestream the event for those unable to participate.
