Caught One With The Live Bait Finesse Systems Combo. At least it was less that two hours to catch it. Livestream for almost two hours without a bite. Ended the stream, Cast a live Bluegill, caught a Bass!
New rod arrived, had to fish it immediately. Bought it for my Shimano Curado BFS-XG Reel to cast live shad and live mullet. Liking this Shakespeare Ultralight Ugly Stik Baitcasting Rod. Can handle a nice Catfish on 6lbs Stren!

Audio version of the Mobile Fishing Livestream where I fished a pond using a 4wt Redington Pursuit 8' Fly Rod with an Echo Ion 2/3 wt Fly Reel with 3wt WF fly line.
Fishing fly I used was a variant of the Producer pattern popular for trout on Oklahoma's Blue River!
In this case, I went with an Olive Producer instead of the Original's white color. And, I can confirm the pattern works for Bluegill and Bass!
Year in and year out, it seems Fishbites produce for us. Meaning we can bait our hooks and consistently catch bait fish like Croaker, Whiting, Perch, and such. It stays on the hook after multiple catches, is easy to clean up - no messy fish slime, and does not require an ice chest to keep it cool.
Give them a try next chance you fish saltwater. Who knows, you may catch the bait that caught your personal best fish!
