Better Luck Next Time.
Fished Hoblitzelle Park Pond in Plano and the nearby creek that runs under Alma this morning. Mainly small Bluegill in the Park's Pond and the creek.
Did observe a few small Bass with one that may have weighed a pound in the creek. They followed my fishing fly but could not get them to strike.
Better luck next time.
FYI: Tried out the Bead Eye Teeny Spider. Had Bass react to it but could not get them to strike this morning. Switched to a Wooly Spider, Olive Wooley Bugger, Brown Wooley Bugger, and Black and Red Zonker. Same reaction, following fishing fly but no strike. Hoping they are acting in this manner due to the cooler weather.
