Lunch Time Quick Trip - October 20, 2008
Fished Bethany Lakes' Feeder Creek and Back Pond at lunch today. Caught Bluegill/Sunfish flyfishing a Foam Rubber Spider Variant.
Had several strikes from small Bass and saw others chasing baitfish in the shallows. Tried a Wooly Spider and an Olive Wooley Bugger but did not get any solid hook-ups.
Fish seemed slow to strike despite the warmer noon temps. Switched to the Foam Rubber Spider Variant and was able to get them to hit on the surface. Sampling of today's catch posted below.
