Kayak Jug Line Fishing
The aim was to catch dinner and experiment with a new Catfish recipe. After using a cast net to catch Shad for bait at the boat ramp, we set out jug lines and successfully caught two Catfish and a Gar.
The Shad bait proved effective, although a tilapia on one jug line caught the larger of the two Catfish.
Despite a slow beginning, we managed to achieve our goal of catching dinner!
