March 8, 2009 - A Bass, A Crappie, and Bluegill.

Went back to Bethany Lakes for a chance at the Bass. Decided to use flyfishing gear and managed to catch a Bass, a Crappie, and a few Bluegill. First used a Green Foam Rubber Spider and had strikes on the surface from the Bluegill. But, was not able to set the hook fast enough. Tied a White Spider Variant and caught and landed fish. The White Spider Variant is the same as the Foam Rubber Spider less the foam. Click-on DFW Fishing News for more fishing information in the Metroplex area. Or, go to Texas Rainbow Trout Fishing - Community Lakes for trout fishing information on community lakes in the area.
