Fished Bethany Ridge pond and caught a fingerling Bass and a Bluegill. Ran down the road to the Feeder Creek to Bethany Lakes and caught several Bluegill/Sunfish. Small guys hitting a Pheasant Tail Nymph. Figured better wet a line today before the cold front arrives tonight!

Had been wanting to flyfish this park for a while. Went on Sunday, 11/28 for a couple of hours. A pretty slow day in general. I did not see the other fisherman catching anything. The color of the water was strange in all but the southeast (long) pond? Tried a newly tied foam spider with no results. Then tied on the black and bluegill. Finally landed a bluegill. Later, landed a very nice bass - maybe 16 - 17". Released both unharmed. Not such a bad day after all.
