Quick Trip To Bethany Lakes Gets a Bluegill and a Bass!

Fished Bethany Lakes this evening to try out the Deer Hair Bug and other fishing flies.  Action was slow but did manage to catch a Bluegill and a Bass.  Bluegill was a little scrapper; Bass put up a good fight on the fly rod.  Estimated size was about 15" in length!  Fun stuff...  even made a short video of today's catch!

  1. Hi kayak fishing,
Kayak fishing is fun but mainly do so in the summer months. Have a Heritage 9.5 Angler... has been good trolling for White Bass when schooling on the points.
