Hey everyone! Just got back from a solid day on the Blue River in Oklahoma at Hughes Crossing on December 20, 2025. Water was clear, flow was perfect, and the trout were biting steadily all day.
I landed about 10 rainbows (kept two for dinner) and lost plenty more. Morning action was strong on Olive Near Deere and Orange Eggstacy Egg patterns. Once the sun came out, white Mega Worms took over, with a hot stretch on Chartreuse Polar Flash White Mop Fly.
