More Tenkara Fishing at Bethany,.... 3 Bass and 5 Sunfish!

Went back to Bethany for more Tenkara Fishing.  Made it right before the thunderstorm arrived.  Managed to catch 3 little Bass and 5 Sunfish in about 30".  Did notice the downed trees and branches everywhere.  Looks like the strong winds last night had an impact on the park.

  1. Just found your blog recently. Really like all of the information you put on here. Took the family to Bethany Lakes today fishing with some of the dough bait (from the recipe here). Caught more today then we ever have, 1 catfish, 1 bass, and 8 sunfish.

  2. Those are some pretty nice sunfish and bass! I live in Sherman, so I may run to Allen in the near future and do some fishing! It will give me a reason to go to Cabela's too!

  4. Thanks for checking out our Blog! Bethany gets a lot fishing pressure but there are fish to be caught. So far, Olive Wooley Buggers or Olive Crawdads seem to be working for us!
